Privacy policy
This policy describes how Credit Plainly handles information in the current Next.js site generation, and it is meant to be understandable—not a pile of empty assurances.
What we may collect
- Basic technical data that hosting and analytics providers commonly log: IP address, user agent, approximate location, and pages viewed. If we enable privacy-respecting analytics, we aim to use it at an aggregate level—not to sell personal credit dossiers.
- Information you voluntarily email us if you contact us. Do not email sensitive credit details.
Tools on this website
Our calculators and letter helpers are designed to run locally in your browser where possible. They should not ask for Social Security numbers, full account numbers, dates of birth, upload of credit reports, or bank logins. If you see a request like that on this domain, treat it as a bug or malicious content and contact us.
Cookies
We may use cookies or similar technologies if needed for site operation or measurement. If advertising cookies are introduced later, we will update this policy and disclosures accordingly.
Children
This site is intended for adults making credit decisions. It is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date on the page.
